The two minute drill

A summary of everything that happened last weekend in two minutes or less.

There are well over 150 games per weekend during college basketball season. Although most of us would love to sit down with a bucket of wings and a frozen pizza in the oven and binge-watch all weekend, the fact that we're real people with real responsibilities makes it hard to realize that dream. So we wrapped up every notable result from the weekend in an article you can read in two minutes or less. Ready? Let's go:

Alabama Vs. Georgia

Alabama keeps showing us why they are one of the best teams in the country. Their 108-59 win against the Bulldogs was a major bounce-back reminiscent of their 101-44 crushing of Vanderbilt.

Kansas Vs. Baylor

Allen Fieldhouse proved too much for the Bears as they split the series with the Jayhawks. Jalen Wilson had 22 points and continues to plead his case for the Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year.

Texas vs. Oklahoma

Sir'Jabari Rice has emerged as a star for Texas and has been a leading scorer off the bench in five of their last seven games. The fifth-year player, who previously played at New Mexico State, has lifted a weight off of Marcus Carr and has made Texas one of the scariest scoring teams in the NCAA. Longhorns edged out the Sooners 85-83.

Virginia vs. Louisville

Virginia has been rocky as of late, winning their past two games by a combined five-point margin over 4-23 Louisville Cardinals and 10-17 Notre Dame. They have an easy schedule to end the season but look out for their game at the Dean Dome, where UNC tries to get their first Quad 1 win.

Kentucky vs. Tennessee

Kentucky completed the sweep this week against #11 Volunteers. While they've lost against South Carolina and Georgia, Kentucky doubled their quad-one wins in the past week. They may not be ranked, but they can beat anyone.

Kansas State vs. Iowa State

K-State held off Iowa State to split their series. Both are excellent teams, but Iowa State struggles on the road. Kansas State is a textbook example of what can happen if you recruit well through the Transfer Portal.

Those were the big ones. Now let's do some rapid fire:

Gonzaga vs. Pepperdine

Gonzaga plays just like Drew Timme. Their offense is deadly, but their defense rarely shows up. They put up 97 but let up 88 to Pepperdine. They win their 45th in a row against the Waves.

Indiana vs. Illinois

Indiana beat Illinois in the battle of the IU's. Former champ Matthew Mayer put up 24, but Jackson-Davis is the player of the year if Zach Edey never picked up a basketball.

Miami vs. Wake Forest

Miami scores 96 against Wake Forest and advances to 15-0 at home. Nijel Pack looks comfortable in the system and is making a quality Miami team even better.

TCU vs. Oklahoma State

TCU has Mike Miles back, and he put up 15 in the win against Oklahoma State. The Horned Frogs are WAY better than #24 in the country when he's playing. Look out for the home upset against Kansas.

Arizona State vs. Utah

Arizona State's still on the bubble after their 67-59 win against Utah. Desmond and Devan Cambridge hit some clutch threes to pull away in the final minutes.

Clemson vs. Louisville

Clemson has begun to unfold. They're 1-3 in their last four games, with the latest one coming to Louisville. They went from ranked halfway through the season to the wrong side of the bubble real quick.

Michigan vs. Michigan State

Michigan picks up a Quad 2 win against MSU at home. Too little too late for the tournament, or will they find themselves tournament-bound come three weeks from now.

Nebraska vs. Maryland

The Cornhuskers have been rolling. They beat Maryland on Saturday and finished off the week by tripling their Quad One wins going from 1-3. Keisei Tominaga has been a huge factor averaging 23.6 PPG over his last five games. He's looking to lead Nebraska to their first tournament in a decade.

And last but not least:

Tennessee State vs. SIU Edwardsville

State bested SIU Edwardsville 100-85. The Tigers JR Clay scored 40 points in a winning effort. He's been putting up numbers all season averaging 19.1 PPG, 5.3 APG, and 4.7 REB in his final NCAA season.
